| New topics ideas for your business blogs |
One of the issues that is struggling with busy bloggers is about new thinking. If you update your blog once a week or you post every day, you still need at least 52 ideas per year. After a few years, new ideas can be hard to cover.
Tips for finding ideas
In April 2014, I wrote to find out enough ideas about the blog if needed every day. These ideas are still useful and how do you come up with a new idea for your blog every day?
Write headlines like Jerry Lowe as well as Brian Clark, Neil Patel and John Morrow. If you simply follow the advice in these two articles, you will be well on your way to writing a unique idea with a great title. If you need some more ideas than what is listed, this article is here to help.
See current events
Stay up to date in the news in your niche. For example, we've done some web hosting news and current event updates on WHSR here.
In December 2014 we wrote an update titled Web Hosting News Update: Syrian Electronic Army, Right to Be Forgotten Push and Amazon Cloud Outage.
We covered some of the current running web hosting. This kind of roundup of current news helps you write something extra about it.
You
simply draw on the subject, research it, and write down how it relates to your
industry.
Look at what the competitors are covering
Another neat strategy is to look at what your competitors are writing and then cover what they missed or cover what they covered better. You never want to copy another blog.
If you want to write about the same topic,
go ahead and credit the original source and talk about that article above and
then cover it from another angle so that your post is unique.
Ask for ideas
Do you have followers on Twitter or Facebook? Perhaps you have a regular mailing list of people who visit your site regularly. Just send a call that goes something like this: "Looking for new ideas to cover on the ABC blog.
If you want to write something I haven't already covered, send
your ideas like this." You will be surprised about. You may also want to
see the questions your visitors are asked in the comments section of your site.
Can these questions be turned into articles?
Blogging request
It’s great to know how to come up with ideas but what if you’re really so stuck that you can’t even think of a thing? The blogging prompt below will help.
Fill in the blank condition that makes sense for your niche topic and you will have an interesting title that you can tweet or write something like.
